VINCENZO PARENTE graduated in Horn from the Conservatory 'Nicola Sala' of Benevento in 1996. He also specialised in Baroque Music with Concezio Panone. He holds a Diploma from the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole with G. Corti and he attended to the course for orchestral music from the Orchestra Sinfonia Italiana. He improved with Dale Clevenger and Radovan Vlatkovic. He also improved the study of jazz harmony and arrangement with Antonello Vannucchi.He attends to the workshops with the pianist Barry Harris. He dedicates himself actively in the field of interpretation, both in the orchestral repertoire and in the solo and chamber music, ranging in various genres, from classical to jazz. He has performed in numerous concerts both in Italy and abroad, playing with the conductors as Berio, Globokar, Chailly, Schirmer, Honeck, Marshall, Barshai, Nazareth, Sharovsky, Rudner. He has played with Vannucchi and Beverly Lewis, nephew of singer and saxophonist Joe Henderson. He collaborated with several institutions, including the Orchestra of the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, the Symphony Orchestra in Milan, the Orchestra del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, the Chamber Orchestra of Freiburg. He actually works at the Rome Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Francesco La Vecchia, with whom he made several tours to St. Petersburg, Madrid, Rio de Janeiro, London, Beijing, Shanghai, Krakow, Berlin Philharmonic, Salzburg, Graz, Vienna Musikverein, Philadelphia, Boston, New York's Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center in Washington. He has worked in the new album, S.C.O.T.C.H (Sony Music), of Daniele Silvestri.
