Giuseppe Santangelo aka Joe Mersel is a professional saxophonist and Italian composer, a modern musician with many collaborations active in Italy and abroad. Two of his original projects stand out, the Apramada Project and the Peppe Santangelo Nu Quartet, both directed and written by him. Giuseppe Santangelo has already participated in numerous festivals and released records with his projects, for 2019 he proposes his new project "Peppe Santangelo Nu Quartet" with the album entitled "My name Is ...". With this new work, Santangelo pays homage to the great jazz composers of the twentieth century who most influenced him and also intends to mark and definitively outline his path in the public eye.
