Marcella Lamberti was born in Alba (IT) and at the age of 11 she approached the study of Harp. Graduated at the Conservatorio A. Vivaldi of Alessandria, under the guidance of Irene Rossi, she refined with Susanna Mildonian. She had covered the role of First Harp of Teatro Carlo Felice Orchestra in Genova for 38 years, from 1977 until 2015. She collaborated as First Harp with the Teatro Regio of Turin Orchestra, the Orchestra Nazionale della Rai of Turin, the Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala, the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino Orchestra, the Or- chestra Verdi of Milan, the Teatro San Carlo Orchestra of Naples, the Festival of Torre del Lago Puccini Orchestra and she had covered the role of First Harp at the Teatro Verdi Orchestra of Salerno from 2009 to 2016. In her career she played with the most famous directors, such as Riccardo Muti, Zubin Mehta, Georges Pretre, Jurij Temirkanov, Daniel Oren, Riccardo Chailly, Myung-Whun Chung. She teached in Conservatorio di Novara, Conservatorio di Alessandria, Conservatorio di Milano and colla- borate with the Conservatorio N. Paganini of Genoa for the courses of orchestral formation. In 2004 she was invited by Institute of Music in Damascus in Syria for a MasterClass where she performed in a solo concert for Horn and Harp. She recorded various film soundtracks and in 2016 she recorded the single “Airka” composed by Nicola Ferro for Horn and Harp, with Vladimiro Cainero. She also performed in a lot of concerts as a soloist and in chamber ensembles.
