Gilbert Paraschiva

Musician-Poet-Journalist-Presenter Gilbert Paraschiva, a showman and recipient of the Culture Award from the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, began his artistic activity at 14 in Eritrea, playing with members of Renato Carosone's Ensemble. As a journalist, he was a correspondent for "Il Quotidiano Eritreo" in San Remo at the time when the song "Tutte le mamme" won, and he played in the best orchestras in Naples, also producing various artists with the record label that bore his name ("Gilbert Record"). He participated as an interpreter in various Talent Compilations created by the author and artistic director of Neapolitan song for Italian Way Music, Luciano Somma.
