Bit Max

Bit-Max is one of the most used nicknames of Maurizio Pavesi, a famous DJ and producer in the history of Italian Italo dance music of the 80s and 90s. The stage name Bit-Max was created by Maurizio Pavesi in reference to the computer bit he intended to bring to the maximum level, Max for that matter. The stage name Bit-Max became important in the 90s with his Italian techno sound, a remix of new beat, industrial, and EBM mixed with the original Detroit techno and the UK/Dutch hoover/breakbeat/rave sound, giving a more Italian and European sonority.
