Giovanni Telesca was born in Potenza (Italy) on the 22nd of April in 1993, he began writing songs in 2008, insipired by everything that happens around him, adding in each song some autobiographical notes. His sound is characteristic of Italian pop music, usually heard during his childhood, which still remains his favorite music. He met Renato Pezzano in 2007, with him he arranged and recorded his first EP “Volare Lontano”, which represents a synthesis of his musical works from 2008 to 2011. In this period Giovanni is playing with The Clay, a young rock band, in which he sings and composes the songs. He took part to a lot of competition, with The Clay, too; such as Hyde Park (2010 – 2011) and Tour Music Fest (2010), in both of them he reached the final stages; other competitions in which he took part with The Clay are Woody Groove Festival 2012 (second place) and Calvello Music Contest (were The Clay won the prize for “Best Young Band”). He parteciped also to Music Village, in 2010, where he met experts in music industry and many italian emerging music artists.
