Erik Sjaholm

Erik Sjöholm is a Finnish singer-songwriter, storyteller, and multi-instrumentalist with a sound similar to artists like Damien Rice, Jeff Buckley, and Glen Hansard. His songs are plot-driven and dynamic, moving playfully from the most intimate to the most cinematic. Erik grew up in the Swedish-speaking part of Finland, in a family where music was spoken by all family members. Throughout his career, he has explored various roles in the industry, from being a session musician in wedding bands, writing songs for Jpop and Kpop as a housewriter at Sugar House Publishing, writing and performing music for storytelling performances in Amsterdam with world-renowned theater producers, and most recently writing music for film and TV.
